Kick off Meeting
Kick-off meeting in Veszprém
| The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnership project entitled VETech – Digital Skills for Tomorrow’s SMEs took place in Veszprém on 26 March 2025 and was organized by the project coordinator, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Veszprém County. The 18-month project was implemented by three international partners and aimed to enhance the digital skills of students and teachers participating in the vocational education and training (VET) sector, while supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The project sought to ensure that the digital skills development of VET stakeholders was aligned with the needs of the labour market. Representatives of all three project partners attended the kick-off meeting. The project launch event – also known as a kick-off meeting – plays an important role in every international cooperation project, as its main objectives are to: • get to know the partners and their respective institutions, • review the project objectives and implementation schedule, • clarify responsibilities and communication processes, • agree on short- and long-term tasks, and • establish a common understanding regarding working methods and expectations. In line with these objectives, during the event in Veszprém the partners presented their institutions and areas of expertise, reviewed the tasks undertaken within the project, defined the working methods, set deadlines, and allocated responsibilities. The kick-off meeting was constructive and characterized by openness and commitment on the part of all partners. The event concluded with a cultural programme, including a visit to the recently opened Code Digital Experience Centre. |
