About Us
VETech – Digital Skills for Tomorrow’s SMEs is an Erasmus+ KA210-VET small-scale partnership project that tackles one of today’s most urgent challenges in the European labor market: closing the digital skills gap in vocational education and training (VET) and accelerating the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Spanning from January 2025 to June 2026, VETech is led by a transnational consortium of partners from Hungary, Bulgaria, and Greece. The project is driven by the shared objective of equipping VET learners and educators with advanced, future-proof digital competences. These skills are tailored to meet the rapidly evolving technological demands of modern businesses—especially SMEs with limited capacity to navigate digital change independently.
At its core, VETech will develop a simulation-based learning curriculum and practical digital toolkit to support both VET providers and SMEs. By integrating emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) into an accessible educational framework, the project creates a low-risk, guided learning environment that fosters digital fluency and innovation.
The implementation plan includes:
Initial needs assessments and research on digital training gaps across the three countries
Development of the VETech Toolkit, featuring simulation-based methodologies and SME-focused content
A pilot Simulation Training event to test and refine the materials
Final publication and open access distribution via a dedicated digital platform
All project results—including training resources, reports, and the digital toolkit—will be freely accessible to VET institutions, SME networks, and policy stakeholders across Europe. In this way, VETech contributes directly to the Erasmus+ horizontal priority on digital transformation, while reinforcing VET-specific goals related to labor market alignment, innovation, and employability.
